The Healthcare Security Cast Podcast with Brine Hamilton (episode #83) – on public speaking nerves, finding your voice, and why you’re even more awesome than you think
I got a chance to hang out with Brine Hamilton of The Healthcare Security Cast, the online resource for hospital and healthcare professionals.
Brine does amazing work in his support of the Healthcare Security Community (#HSCCommunity), by interviewing a diverse a variety of experts in healthcare security and personal development. I’m at #83 — have a listen!
In this interview, we chat about a shy kid that grew up to be a quiet adult (that’s me, by the way). After becoming increasingly frustrated by missing opportunities due to my unwillingness to speak at key moments, I started my public speaking journey which ultimately ended up as a professional speaker, public speaking & presentation coach, and communication strategist.
Now I get to work with business professionals, entrepreneurs, academics and all manner of cool people — including healthcare security professionals — who want to position themselves as leaders by speaking up with confidence, getting clear on their message, and ensuring that they’re positioning their message in a way that makes your audience care about what they’re saying.

Many thanks to Brine for his excellent questions, and this riveting discussion!
