Small changes, BIG results: How you (and even your garden) can THRIVE!

Small changes, BIG results: How you (and even your garden) can THRIVE!

I get that this blog generally isn’t the place to share gardening photos. But hear me out…

In past years, I would always plant a small garden in my backyard. I would plant “a bunch of stuff” (that’s my technical gardening term for cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, and whatever else I was ready to experiment with from the gardening store).

I planted everything myself, and figured that nature would take it’s course. And it usually did, and provided a ‘good enough’ garden. ๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿ…

Except some years, despite my best efforts of watering, tending to and negotiating/begging with the veggies, the lettuce would wilt quickly, the cucumbers never showed up, and other veggies seemed to struggle through the season.

Ultimately, some veggies thrived, some failed, and I just accepted it.

I knew that there were some things that I could probably have been doing a little better to allow my garden to thrive … but I wasn’t quite sure what those ‘things’ were.

Enter…The Coach!

And so this year, I found a gardening coach!

She came over to help me help me plan out the garden this year, and taught me so much about what went wrong in years past.

She helped me understand where certain veggies would thrive more (ie. sunny vs. shady spots, and hot weather vs. cold weather veggies), which earth to use, how to prune, how to ‘direct’ growth, what the heck “bolting” is and how to deal with it, and so much more.

Which is 100% why the garden is so much more โ€œfruitfulโ€œ (veggie-ful?) than in years past. ๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฅ’๐Ÿฅ•ย ๐Ÿฝ

Granted, hot weather, consistent watering, sunshine and negotiations with the veggies helps too — but to be honest, I had done that in years past as well, and never experienced this result.

It’s not rocket science. It’s not even difficult. But it couldn’t have been done alone.ย

What the gardening expert shared with me wasn’t rocket science. It wasn’t even incredibly difficult.

But it was information that I wouldn’t have had — or been able to implement — without her.

As a result, I was able to get over ‘the hump’ that had kept me — and my garden — in “good enough” land for so long.

You know where I’m going with this, right? ๐Ÿค”

Is there something that you’ve been struggling with, that you wish you could improve but just aren’t sure how, and just need the advice of an expert to push you out of the state of “good enough?”

It could be your presentation or communication skills (yes, I had to say it! ๐Ÿ˜€)

You don’t have to settle for “good enough” anymore — AND you don’t have to figure it out alone anymore either!ย

Sometimes working with an expert or coach can make a HUGE difference in the work that you do….and the presentations that you give.

AND – it could also be your overall health & wellness, fitness and nutrition, personal or professional development, confidence, etc.

There is someone out there who can help you get far better results.

(And if it’s your presentation and communication skills that you would like to elevate, or support your team in building their skills, let’s talk about it! OR…we can just talk about gardening!)

Happy summer to you!
